Great resource for jean makers, Denim North America produces denim fabric in Georgia. Denim North America is a privately held denim company based in Columbus, Georgia. The $87 million facility was built by Marubeni Corp in 1998 and is the most modern textile plant in North America. It was taken private in 2002 and has averaged 16% annual growth every year since then. Most importantly the company has been profitable every year and is the most financially and functionally solid denim operation in the country. | 4. Camouflage, Theatrical Fabrics |
Fox-Rich fabrics find their way into a myriad of end uses such as government, hunting, and camping accessories and clothing, theatrical and many more. They make government specification fabrics which range from cloth for wiping rags to a special fabric used to restore old airplanes. Their hunting and camping fabrics range from camouflauge T-shirt material to a laminated fleece that is waterproof and breathable in which the inner layer will absorb perspiration and the outer layer will wick moisture away from the body. They also make theatrical fabrics from muslin upon which scenery is painted to 36 foot wide inherently flame retardant fabrics in colors, maintaining a large greige and finished inventory on most standard fabrics. Not all their fabrics are made in the USA. Some of their organic fabrics such as their organic cotton rib are made in the USA and those are certified Texas Dept. of Agriculture.
