YOU CAN'T BUY LOVE-YOU NEED A PLAN: Chapter 3 (from Love Yes is To Die For by Ruth Graham)

(please note that the two earlier chapters can be read on Ezine articles - http://www.ezinearticles.com )

Are successful women more likely than men to fall prey to male gold diggers? Well, according to a Newsweek article of five years ago, a Forbes study showed that the 50 most powerful women in business had a “stay at home” husband.

What exactly is a stay at home husband? Well, we don't know about the above 50, but in general one can say that such a person is a husband who does nothing but watch television and manicure his nails while his wife is hard at work, or pray not, does nothing but frolic with some sweet young thing on whom he lavishes his wife’s money.

These happy winners are known as spuddies, hot little gold diggers, who successfully hunt. And it's not wild game or ducks. Their prey is rich women. These hunters are Sx4 (Spuddies, sexy, suave, slippery), comfortable like old shoes, around the glitzy watering holes for the rich and famous.

Take a look. Young studs are sharing champagne with women years older, face lifts and all, but a glimpse of the hands gives it all away. Hands tell the truth. The sinews, the veins, the slightly translucent skin texture all but smack you in the face.

Spuddies, however, don’t mind. Money makes such things invisible.

The question is this. Is it possible, as a successful rich female, to avoid getting chewed up and spit out by a spuddy, if you find yourself with diamonds, down hill runs at Courcheval, cruises to Portofino, international polo at Windsor Forest and your very own AMEX platinum to pay for it all?

The answer is probably, no. You are willy enough to continually be putting yourself right in the middle of the prime hunting grounds frequented by our friendly little spuddies, who want to live the life of leisure using your AMEX.

Sadly we all know, millionaires of any sex are hunted, and have been since time began. History books tell you as well as the gossip columns of today.

Unappealing examples of rich powerful women are easy to find in world history but there was also no lack of eager young suitors. The first Queen Elizabeth (1533-1603) Is a good example. Take away her millions and her power, and we would have had no Errol Flynn movies to watch in the wee hours of the morning. And it’s ditto for the faded movie queens of today and yesterday who have a queue of spuddies galore, waiting to march down the aisle.

What can you do?

1. Conceal your success when you are trying to meet that special someone.

2. For your free time, try to find groups that reach out, that give,. Then, join them, participating as much as you can. *

3. Finally, stay away from the places where spuddies gather. Remember. They will find a way to deceive you. (from Love Yes is to Die For by Ruth Graham(c)2008. all rights reserved.)
