Eldreth Pottery is made in Pennsylvania by skilled craftsman. Each piece is hand signed, Eldreth Pottery, and also bears the artist's initials. Their website will be showing a listing of artists' marks. The pottery is functional. The salt-glazed stoneware and redware is food, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. There are no leads in the glazes. The designs and colors will make a table setting special.

Unity Pond Pottery is located in Unity, Maine where the pottery is designed, and made and available to the public. This very attractive folk art pottery uses techniques such as wheel throwing, slip casting, pressing and hand building. They use a stoneware clay body which is fired to 2,300 degrees F. Each piece is individually created and signed. No two are exactly alike! Many pieces are hand-carved. All glazes are lead free and all pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. They offer dinner plates, mugs, place settings, bowls, ikebanas, candle holders, vases and more. They will ship within the USA.

Sioux Pottery is wonderful to look at and to use. The Deer Tracks pattern is one of the outstanding designs done in a deep blue with a white band with deer tracks in blue. Their other patterns include Crazy Horse, Lakota Fire, Dakota Sky, and Spirit Lake. Just the names alone are compelling but the visuals are equally so.
The Black Hills are the source of the red clay used in making Sioux Pottery.
