American made dinnerware makes any meal taste better. There are still a few American made dinnerware companies. We also found American made pottery mugs, bowls, American made dinnerware, contemporary and traditional, a modern process from Corning, and American favorites like Fiesta ware, all made in the USA.In addition thanks to you out there we found Coors, started by a disabled Veteran and making some great looking dinnerware. The American Pottery listed here is hand thrown, hand built and awesome.

1. Fine China
Pickard China has been making fine china since  1897. This is still a family business, a wonderful American success story. Their china is elegant and tasteful. a fantastic choice for everyone.

2. Corelle
Corelle dinnerware is made in Corning, NY. Its process includes laminating three layers of glass together. They have a wide variety of contemporary styles and imaginative patterns.
3. Pottery
These wildlife mugs are from Specialty Photo and Printing
Ceramic coffee mugs made in the USA by this Specialty Photographic company. You can also send your own photographs. The printing is done in the USA as well. check out their other products which can be personalized, all making wonderful gift.


Hard to find coffee mugs from Duluth who make a treasure trove of American products. Their mugs include Moose Mugs, Singing Pines, Latte, and Red Wing. Be sure to check the descriptions because not all the website products are made in the USA.

Mackenzie-Childs in Aurora, N.Y. does decorative dinnerware. Check labels for country of origin.

Eldreth Pottery is made in Pennsylvania by skilled craftsman. Each piece is hand signed, Eldreth Pottery, and also bears the artist's initials.  Their website will be showing a listing of artists' marks. The pottery is functional.  The salt-glazed stoneware and redware is food, oven, microwave and dishwasher safe. There are no leads in the glazes. The designs and colors will make a table setting special. 


American made pottery comes from Red Wing Stoneware. They offer crocks, jugs, water coolers, pitchers, mugs, and beater jars.  The company uses century-old, traditional methods, with products which are carefully handcrafted by skilled artisans in their Minnesota manufacturing facility. Each piece of stoneware, decorated with their classic cobalt blue design and exclusive Red Wing stamp, is traditional, and functional.
American made pottery mugs, cereal bowl, vases, casseroles, come from New Mexico potters, Dorothy and Richard Rising. They started their New Mexico studio in 1986. Rising Sky Artworks offers a wide variety of pottery designs and wonderful colorings inspired by the dessert and sky surrounding them, using a white porcelain clay to start with. Their products are really beautiful and useful, mugs 8 ounce to 12 ounce, garlic keepers, casseroles, wine keeper, butter dish, serving platters, cereal bowls, ice cream bowls and more. Unity Pond Pottery is located in Unity, Maine where the pottery is designed, and made and available to the public. This very attractive folk art pottery uses techniques such as wheel throwing, slip casting, pressing and hand building.  They use a stoneware clay body which is fired to 2,300 degrees F.  Each piece is individually created and signed.  No two are exactly alike!  Many pieces are hand-carved.  All glazes are lead free and all pots are microwave, dishwasher and oven safe. They offer dinner plates, mugs, place settings, bowls, ikebanas, candle holders, vases and more. They will ship within the USA.

Sioux Pottery is wonderful to look at and to use. The Deer Tracks pattern is one of the outstanding designs done in a deep blue with a white band with deer tracks in blue. Their other patterns include Crazy Horse, Lakota Fire, Dakota Sky, and Spirit Lake.  Just the names alone are compelling but the visuals are equally so.

The Black Hills are the source of the red clay used in making Sioux Pottery.
