Feb 28, 2011 Name: Craig comments: Thanks very much for your website. I had just finished buying a lot of clothes and other items from companies that I thought were making USA made goods, but I then found out that most of the things were made outside of the USA. I will refer more people to your site. Thanks again. Craig

From Brian Hodges, Sept. 7, 2010...."If people would realise that the US Dollar is the most powewrfull weapon in the world, and if they spent their money ONLY in the US, then those factories that fled would come crawling back on their knees. This is the tactic the blacks in south Africa used to bring Apartheid down. One step at a time. We just need to keep spreading the word and convince people who have given up to rethink it. Do with less. Buy American and wash it by hand if you have to to prolong the lifespan (if its clothing). Teach your kids prudence, frugality, and how to save up for quality goods rather than caving in to slave labor cheap imports. Everybopdy wants to blame the government no matter which side controls the white House or COngress. Its our job. We have the power of our spending to say who does what at what price."

April 15,2010 I would like to thank you for the information. I was a employee of Whirlpool Corporation until today! My job along with 1300 others is now going to Mexico. To be made cheaper to sell in the US for more money! Consumers need to know that refrigerators are being made in Mexico as of June 2010. Quality has tanked! Beware and read the label inside the cabinet. I was employed for 19 years with the Evansville Indiana Division, we manufactured the refrigerators with the freezer on the top. Thank you for allowing me to share this information with you!

on Feb 9 2010: You have a great site. Just found it ........ While I have searched the site in it's entirety I still can't find any regular old men's sweat pants with pockets and elastic in the ankles. Did I miss something? If you know of a place to buy, please let me know. Also, I would gladly send a small contribution to your site if I knew how. Thanks, John xxxxxx FL

I just purchased and recieved a pair of boots listed on your "made in america" web site, "Chippewa Boots"..and they have made in CHINA on the inside label. I would suggest that they be removed. Chesapeake, Virginia
American Made Yes has amended the report for Chippewa and are suggesting to them that they indicate imported or made in the USA next to each product offered on their website.

I think a section on "Bridal Gifts" would work well on your website. It takes a lot of time to research what is truly made in the States when outfitting a kitchen, for instance. Basics would include dishes by Corelle, bakeware by Pyrex, drinking glasses by Anchor, Kitchen-Aid mixers, All-Clad pots and pans, and Lodge dutch ovens. Good for you for putting this website out there

"....Thanks for the site. As an American Manufacturer I know the importance of buying american. We buy American unless it is cost prohibitive which it usually isn't. The problem we've run ito is companies that you know of as high quality american manufacturers, selling Chinese stuff. Some that come to immediate attention are Starrett. Selling tools made in China but not fully disclosing that until you get the item with made in china on the box. Klipsch Speakers is another. All the research you want on their website but nothing about the product being made in China. I did speak directly with Mr. Klipsch and he pretty much informed me that it doesn't matter where the product is made so no need to inform the buyer of that. After spending several thousand dollars on Klipsch Speakers to find them made in China when I got them home, I've returned them all. If made in China is so good for them and me I don't understand why you wouldn't want to really advertise it. The fact is it's good for their bottom line and that's the only reason. I'd also recommend the documentary The High Cost of Low Prices. Eye opening movie available through Netflix. Thanks for reading...."

Is there a level playing field out there? Read this from an American manufacturer, kind enough to share his ideas: "We are the largest pile driving equipment manufacturer in the world. We make our equipment in Kent, Washington. We export to China........because they need our equipment to build bridges and roads. China charges a 35% duty so our sales are expensive for Chinese contractors wishing to buy our equipment but our patented products are worth it. We also build in Shanghai but only for sales in China. The problem is not with our citizens it is with our own government. We need to change the import duty laws. Why does china get to import products to the USA for .0001 percent duty when it costs the Chinese 35% to buy our products. Not fair. Chinese want to buy but our government wants to prop up sales for China. We could solve this with a stroke of a pen. Sincerely, John L. White President, American Piledriving Equipment Kent, Washington www.apevibro.com Thanks for the website! "

Here are some letters from you that got lost in a computer glitch/ice storm (11 days without power or cable) we had in 2008. But they are wonderful and heart warming showing us the desire to keep America strong.
Thanks for your effort...I can't appreciate enough that there are folks like you doing their part to keep our jobs here in the US. I've been buying almost all of my clothes and shoes on-line fron US manufacturers. I found a rare American source for leather gloves....and they are high quality, beautiful gloves too. Look up the Hawkeye Glove Co., they're located in Iowa. Keep up the good work. God Bless You, Mike
I did not see the adorable kinders listed. This was the only american made doll I have found so far.I purchased 2 of there dolls and they are very cute!!! I love your sight thanks so much for caring about our country and our jobs!!!!!!!

December 8, "Thanks for your site--a great idea and service to the country. Import/export has been a fact of life for thousands of years. No thinking person could oppose it (in my opinion). But export of jobs and manufacturing is a different matter...x'

Feb 1 I think what you are doing is GREAT. My father always said buy Made in the USA and my husband I have tried to uphold this in our family. However, this isn't always easy when you go to stores to purchase items for your children and all they have in Made in CHINA. Now, more than ever, this is very important for the American Economy. ...... If there is anything I can do.... please let me know. Doreen

them. I love this site. Thank you for taking the time to
put it together. Your dog is very handsome.
